In addition to being the sole provider of health care to inmates of the county facilities where we operate, SHP also fills the role of health educator for inmates at those jails where we are providing care.  We also fill the role of educating the officers who work in those institutions on many health-related topics.  We have several training programs available for our customers.  Most of these programs can be taught by our nursing staff at the site, but we may have our regional or group manager hold the session in the jail facility.  This training is free of charge to our customers.  If you need any educational materials on any topic other than the ones listed below, please call the Chattanooga office number and use extension #11.

We also can help in meeting the various statutory and regulatory requirements, as well as accreditation standards, and our advice and assistance on any of these topics is always a part of our services at no additional cost.
