Southern Health Partners takes a great deal of pride in being actively involved in the communities where we have employees and provide inmate medical services. Our sales team members are always in attendance at local law enforcement agency events and are actively involved in hosting annual events for our current customers. Corporate managers and nursing staff become actively involved in developing programs which may offer health and wellness plans to the general public. SHP encourages our employees to give the gift of their time to local charities or participate in county wide events which contribute to the overall education and wellness to all those who reside in the area. These things and many other company wide activities are definitely newsworthy and it is our pleasure to share the news with you.
Chatham County made North Carolina history last month when Sheriff Richard Webster was elected as the President of the North Carolina Sheriffs’ Association (NCSA). Sheriff Webster recently attended the (NCSA) 89th Annual Training Conference held in Craven County, North Carolina with other sheriffs and law enforcement professionals from across the State. Sheriff Webster was elected by his fellow Sheriffs as President of the (NCSA) for the upcoming 2011-2012 year.
